In 2006, when I had just arrived in the UK, I found a tango lessons group in one of the local community centres. I visited them every Thursday to take their photographs, to listen to the music and enjoy their dancing. This was a new experience for me, to meet a group of people who drop everything to come and dance together. Tango is a very intimate and expressive dance. You need to be totally engaged with your partner. My interest was to observe how this group goes through their learning and how they get along with each other.
